The Little Lady's Birthday Party

Logan's Birthday

We sent in a picture to our local news station and they put it on their Sunrise Birthdays. I think Logan thoroughly enjoyed her birthday! She definitely knew it was a special day. Today was my last basketball game, so Logan "made" cupcakes to take to her cheerleaders, as you will see in the pictures below. My mom made her a crown to wear, but she would rather look at it than wear it. Then after my basketball game, we came back home and had cake and ice cream and opened presents. Saturday is her birthday party with the rest of the family so stay tuned for more pictures!

Logan's 1st Birthday!

Daisy

Daisy had her teeth cleaned a couple of weeks ago. While she was under they removed a lump from her chest that had been growing. They sent the lump of stuff to Washington State to get tested. It came back cancerous. So yesterday, they widened the margins of the incision and then went a little deeper to make sure they get all of the cancer out. They also removed another lump from her back, that turned out to be non-cancerous. They sent the stuff they removed back to the lab, so we are hoping it comes back clean. Since the incision was rather large, they had to put a drain in. So the yellow vest she has on, is to help hold the pad in place (or in our case a diaper) to help soak up stuff from the drain. Her foot is also wrapped, so that if she is to scratch her nails won't do any more damage. We are suppose to keep her from jumping on stuff so that it doesn't stretch her chest and the sutures too much. Last night she jumped up on to the bed to go to sleep, but she stayed there all night and we will just have to be very careful.

Logan loves to take a bath in her new jacuzzi tub!


Logan often comes to the basketball games with me. She really likes the cheerleaders and crawled right over to where they were hanging out to sit with them. For cheer, the captain every week puts a bow together for the girls to wear at the games...this week the captain made some for Logan too, she will be wearing them to the game tomorrow. Since Logan comes to the games often, we had a sweatsuit made for her with the panther paw.
