2nd try at the Wash Pod

So we gave the wash pod a second chance. This time it was much better! Logan could sit on her own in the pod, so I could wash her hair a lot easier...she seemed to enjoy it too!

Logan's 1st Rodeo

For part of Memorial Day weekend we traveled to Spray, OR for a rodeo. My dad is the Vice President of the rodeo committee there, and my step-niece and nephew were going to do the muttin bustin competition, so we wanted to go watch! Logan also got to ride my old horse. My dad got him in 1983...he was 3 three years old at the time...that means this year he is 29. They don't think he is going to be around much longer, so we wanted to get a picture with him. Logan wasn't too thrilled with her first horse ride...

1st Mother's Day

For Mother's Day we went and had brunch at Grandma Leslie, Great-Grandma Eunice, and Great-Grandpa Bob's house, also in attendance were Jerry and Dena. After brunch, we spent the rest of the day working in our yard.

Yosemite National Park

After we left San Jose last week...we took a little detour and drove to Yosemite National Park. Curt had been there several years ago, but at a different time of the year...and I had never been there before. It was really pretty and magnificent. We told Logan we would take here there again (when she can remember it).

While Logan sleeps...

California Babe

Well it is still overcast here, but it warmed up and stopped raining...this made for a great photo op of Logan lounging by the pool.

Logan says...

Hi from California!

Well, it is rainy here today...so unless it clears up the bathing beauty pictures will have to wait to be taken!

Posting from California

We are in San Jose, CA for the week...Curt was coming down here as well as some of our employees for a few days of training, so Logan and I decided to come as well! Curt's training lasts until Thursday and then early Friday...we will take the guys to the airport, and Curt, Logan, and I are going to head to Yosemite National Park and possibly by Lake Tahoe.

The trip down here went really well with Logan. We went half-way yesterday and then finished up the trip this morning. She was hungry about the same time we were so it made it convenient to stop, eat, and change her. She slept the whole way.

Right now the weather is overcast and sprinkling...I am hoping it warms up so I can get a picture of Logan laying by the pool in her swimsuit and sunglasses on...so keep checking for pictures of our California Babe...
