New Addition!

Well, we are going to be adding another addition to our family and this time it's not of the four-legged variety! We are very excited and can't wait until the end of February or early March when Baby Barnett will be here!
We are only 9 weeks along, but the baby is starting to look like an actual baby! If you can see in the ultrasound, the baby's head is on the right and it's body is on the left. The doctor told us the baby was covering its face with its arm and hand...looks like it is going to get Laramie's shyness!

Curt and I are still in discussion if we are going to find out the gender of the baby early...Curt wants to find out early and I want to wait and let it be a surprise! So we will see, we will post an update when a decision has been made.

First Anniversary Trip: Mariners vs. Red Sox

The traditional gift for the first anniversary is "paper." So, we gave ourselves tickets to the Seattle Mariners vs. Boston Red Sox's game. This was my first professional baseball game and I thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a great time.

(This player for the Red Soxs is from Madras, it was fun to see a professional from close to home)

Weissenfels' Family Reunion

The weekend after the 4th of July, Curt, Echo and I headed to Anatone, Washington for Curt's Mother's side family reunion. It is about 7 hours from Redmond. Curt's Grandparent's own 40 wooded acres outside of Anatone. Curt and I, as well as his Mom, Sister, Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins, camped at "The 40" (as it is referred to). We had a great time and it was beautiful there. The weather couldn't be more perfect either. While there we celebrated one of Curt's Aunt's Birthdays, his Mom's Birthday, as well as his 28th Birthday! We had a great time at the reunion also, except toward the end of the reunion one of Curt's cousins fell of a swing and broke her arm, what a way to end a fun weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with Curt's family as well as looking at old pictures. Even though Daisy didn't make the trip up with us (she stayed with my grandparents and mom to get spoiled), Echo had a great time and there were 8 other dogs there for her to play with!

Cultus Lake Resort

This past weekend, Curt and I loaded up the truck with some of our camping gear and the dogs and headed to Cultus Lake Resort (West of Sunriver). We met some of our friends and we stayed in a cabin on the lake. It was very hot and the mosquitos were horrible! Luckily one of our friends had her boat so we could go out on the water to cool off and get away from the mosquitos. The dogs loved the water....they jumped off of the dock several times to retrieve their toy or to just jump in and cool off.
