Baby Barnett: 19 weeks and 6 days!

Today we went for our mid-pregnancy ultrasound. It was a more in-depth ultrasound then what we have had done at our other appointments. At this appointment, they measured the baby's legs, belly, and head. This helps to give them a closer idea of a due date as well as how big the baby is. They said we are now due February 27th, so just 1 day sooner than we thought! Baby Barnett also weighs 13 ounces. This appointment was really exciting because we were able to see a lot more detail and see how our baby is growing! They also measured the heartbeat per minute, it is currently beating 153, which is good! Even though I haven't felt too much yet from the baby, I do feel a few little flutters every once awhile, but from watching the baby on the ultrasound, it is moving quite a bit! But we also found out our baby likes to be curled up...you will see this in the ultrasound picture below. Our baby even yawned for us! It was pretty cool, because we could see it opening and closing its mouth as well as moving its arms and legs! Although they probably could have told us the gender of the baby today, we have decided to keep it a surprise to us!

In this picture, the baby has their feet over their head. You can see their eye in this picture.

This picture shows the baby's legs. The white looking sticks are the bones. The ultrasound technician said the baby was crossing its feet.

Meet Baby Barnett! Here is the baby's profile!

This last picture is of the baby's foot. It is in the right upper corner, and it looks like a little foot! We think it has Laramie's toes...the second one looks a little longer than the big toe...haha.
