Echo

While I sit here typing this blog...my bathtub is currently filling up for the second time tonight...because our little dog Echo decided she wanted her bath first! I filled up the tub, it was almost ready (I forgot to close the shower door) and I heard a commotion...went into the bathroom to find:

Echo was bobbing for her tennis balls. That's our water dog! So after I found her like this...I closed her in the shower and gave her a bath.

34 Weeks!

We are now 34 weeks...! We met with our doctor a couple of weeks ago and everything is looking and measuring good! Baby is still in the head down position. We go back Feb. 6th for another check-up.

We are definitely ready for the little one to get here! Can't wait to see what I have been carrying in me for so long.

We started our Labor Prep class last night at the hospital. We learned how to relax...haha. We went through several exercises to concentrate on our breathing and to learn how to work through the contractions.

The nursery is really coming together and ready for the baby. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

(The pictures on the wall are of Curt as a baby, our baby's ultrasound, and a picture of myself as a baby)

(The toy box is one my Great Grandpa Berwyn made me, and the shelves he also made...are holding the diapers, wipes, and other supplies)

(Here's the dresser/changing table with pictures of Daisy and Echo hanging above)

Rob and Laura's Wedding

It has been a few weeks now, but I wanted to add pictures when I made a post to the blog. Curt's brother, Rob got married on January 3rd to Laura. It was a fun and long weekend. Curt and I helped Curt's mom, Colleen, and sister, Amy, with the rehearsal dinner. Then we helped with the set up and decorating at the wedding/reception site. And then the day of the wedding Curt was a groomsman so we arrived early for him to get ready and for myself to help with the rest of the setup. I also served cake during the reception and then our job at the end of the day was to deliver all of the presents to their house. It was a beautiful wedding. And it was great because they were able to use several of things we had at our wedding.

(These are the vases and mirrors from our wedding)
(I also made mints that were on each table in heart-shaped crystal dishes)
